It does not matter in which part of the world a couple say the "Yes, I accept ," every where there are different beliefs and costums that express happiness and traditions in the wedding day, some of them are the Romanian weddings. In Romaina, the tradition is to kidnap the bride. the kidnapers are the boyfriend's close friends. After that, the groom has to negotiate to release the bride, which is almost always about alcohol trade or an embarrassing confession. After all the show, the bride and groom are ready for the ceremony in the Romanian Orthodox Church.

Wow...I guess that's the only time that a kidnapping could be considered a good thing!

That's interesting, so before kidnapping, were they (a bride and groom) dating together as a couple?
